A goal early in the second half proved to be the difference, as the Stetson Hatters slipped by the Liberty Flames 1-0 in an ASUN Conference contest, Saturday at Osborne Stadium. In a hard fought conference contest, Stetson freshman midfielder Gio Rodriguez put back a rebound of a shot by William Suaut for the game's only goal during the 58th minute. The Hatters then held the Flames in check the rest of the way for the victory.
Liberty drops to 0-3 in ASUN play and 4-7 overall. Stetson improves to 2-0-1 in conference and 6-5-1 overall.

Turning Point After a scoreless 57 minutes, the Hatters netted the match's lone goal. Suaut fired a shot from in close which Liberty goalkeeper Danny Cordero knocked down for a save. The deflection rolled out to Rodriguez who ripped a shot into the lower left corner for a 1-0 advantage.
