Liberty Opens ASUN Play with a Win at Jacksonville

Liberty began its ASUN Conference schedule on the road against Jacksonville. A late second half surge on offense by the Lady Flames gave Liberty the 2-0 win over the Dolphins to improve to 5-4-2 this season. Liberty has now won four straight games for the first time since 2017.

Scoring Summary

76' – LIBERTY – Gabrielle Farrell (Unassisted)

81' – LIBERTY – Kasey Jamieson (Assist by Kayleigh Kardos)

Turning Point

Throughout 90 minutes of play, little offense was generated in front of goal for both teams as a combined 11 shots were taken. Liberty however capitalized off a defense error by JU that led to a pair of goals in a five-minute span. Gabrielle Farrell scored off JU's backline error and Kasey Jamieson sealed the win with a header to give Liberty its fourth straight victory.
