Liberty's fall schedule features five dates of competition and an Alumni Game on Homecoming Weekend.

The Liberty women's lacrosse squad has released its fall 2019 exhibition slate, featuring five dates of competition and details for Homecoming Weekend in mid-October.

"We are eager to finally compete against someone other than ourselves. This is always a really exciting time for us as we get to showcase our 2020 team for the first time," said Liberty Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Kelly Nangle. "We have a very full and competitive fall schedule that will challenge us, stretch us and help our team grow. We can't wait to get going!"

The Lady Flames' schedule begins this Saturday with the Liberty Play Day, featuring Liberty, Campbell, Radford and Old Dominion. The first game of the day will be between Liberty and Radford, with first draw set for 10 a.m. at the Liberty Lacrosse Field.

Below is a list of the Lady Flames' fall play days and Homecoming information. Opponents and game times for fall play days will be available on the Liberty women's lacrosse social media accounts prior to each game day.

-Liberty Play Day | Sept. 21 | Lynchburg, Va.
-Robert Morris Play Day | Sept. 28 | Moon, Pa.
-George Mason Play Day | Oct. 5 | Fairfax, Va.
-Delaware Play Day | Oct. 13 | Newark, Del.
-Homecoming Weekend & Alumni Game | Oct. 19 | Lynchburg Va.

  • 10 a.m. – Banquet in Montview Alumni Ballroom
  • 1 p.m. – Alumni Game at Liberty Lacrosse Field
  • 4 p.m. – Letterwinners Tailgate at Fanfest (Indoor Practice Facility)     
  • 6 p.m. – Football Game vs. Maine at Williams Stadium

-Duke Play Day | Oct. 26 | Durham, N.C.

Liberty is coming off a spring 2019 campaign in which they won a program-record 14 games and finished runner-up at the ASUN Lacrosse Championship in its first year in the conference.
