Thoughts from Head Coach Lang Wedemeyer
"This was a great win for us. This team has a lot to be proud of, being the first team in program history to defeat an ACC school. To come out here after an overtime game on Thursday and put on a gritty performance and take advantage of the opportunities we had and grind out a win is very gratifying."
Liberty will close out its brief homestand with a matchup against in-state opponent, James Madison, on Thursday. This will be Liberty's final non-conference contest at home as kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Osborne Stadium.
