The Liberty University Invitational begins on Friday afternoon at the Cook Tennis Center.

The Flames men's tennis team will open its fall 2019 season by hosting the Liberty University Invitational, Friday through Sunday at the Cook Tennis Center.
Eight players on Liberty's roster will compete at the event, which will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday.
"Our team is excited about competing on our home courts. We are focusing on building our competitive mindset and fighting for each other," said Liberty Men's Tennis Head Coach Derek Schwandt.

The Flames also hosted the Liberty University Invitational in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, Liberty posted a combined 29-15 mark (22-10 singles, 7-5 doubles). Vince Salas claimed a singles and doubles title (alongside Farid Juri), while Nicaise Muamba finished with a 3-1 singles mark and earned runner-up honors in the top draw, the Red draw.
