2019-20 ASUN WBB Schedule Announced

View Liberty's 2019-20 ASUN Conference Schedule

The ASUN Conference announced its 2019-20 women's basketball schedule on Wednesday with each of the nine teams slated to play a 16-game double round-robin schedule. Liberty will tip off its second season of ASUN play and the 35th season of ASUN women's basketball with a Jan. 4 visit to NJIT.

Start Me Up
For the second straight season, Liberty will begin ASUN Conference competition away from home, traveling to NJIT (Jan. 4) and FGCU (Jan. 6) on the opening weekend of league play.

The Lady Flames' first of eight ASUN home games will be played Jan. 11 versus Jacksonville. Liberty hosted the Dolphins for their first-ever ASUN Conference home game (Jan. 12, 2019) and their inaugural ASUN Women's Basketball Championship contest (March 8, 2019) last season.

Run It Back
Liberty advanced to the ASUN Women's Basketball Championship title game during its first season of conference action before falling to FGCU.

The Lady Flames will play at FGCU on Jan. 6 before welcoming the Eagles to the Vines Center on Feb. 1.

Twice The Fun
The Lady Flames will be part of eight ASUN doubleheaders with Liberty's defending conference champion men's basketball team in 2019-20.

Liberty will host five conference doubleheaders at the Vines Center, including men's and women's matchups with Jacksonville (Jan. 11), Lipscomb (Jan. 18), FGCU (Feb. 1), NJIT (Feb. 15) and Stetson (Feb. 22).

The Flames and Lady Flames will play a trio of ASUN doubleheaders on the road, including visits to NJIT (Jan. 4), Stetson (Jan. 25) and North Alabama (Feb. 8).

#ASUNMadness
The 2020 ASUN Women's Basketball Championship will feature quarterfinals on March 7, semifinals on March 11 and the title game on March 15. The higher seed will host each matchup throughout the tournament.

During their inaugural season of ASUN Conference play, the Lady Flames hosted and won ASUN quarterfinal and semifinal contests.

Still to Come
Game times and the Lady Flames' 2019-20 non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
