2019 Liberty Men's Soccer Schedule
For Head Coach Kelly Findley's first season, nine regular season home contests highlight the Liberty Flames men's soccer team's 2019 schedule.
The Flames will host three ASUN Conference opponents, while welcoming six non-conference teams to Osborne Stadium. Liberty will host Duquesne and Incarnate Word in the first ever meetings between the schools on the pitch, while the rest of the home non-conference schedule includes matches with Elon, George Washington, USC Upstate and VMI.
Liberty will open its first season under Findley at Radford on Aug. 30 at Cupp Memorial Stadium. The contest is one of eight road contests for the Flames. Liberty will also meet Pitt for the first time in program history, along with George Mason, Navy and UMBC in non-conference road games.
In their second season in the ASUN Conference, the Flames will open conference play with two road matches. Liberty will begin league action on Sept. 21 at North Florida and a week later will take on NJIT on Sept. 28. The Flames will also square off with Jacksonville on the road on Oct. 26.
Liberty will host Stetson, Florida Gulf Coast, and Lipscomb in conference play at Osborne Stadium, this season.
The top six teams in the ASUN standings will advance to the 2019 ASUN Men's Soccer Championship. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be held at the home sites of the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, Nov. 8 and 10. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will receive a bye and play the quarterfinal winners in the semifinals. The finals will be played on the home field of the highest remaining seed on Nov. 16. The conference champion receives an automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.
