- Skirrow, Barker and Cole Garret combined to strike out five and walk two. Skirrow pitched the first three innings, before Barker entered in the fourth. Garrett retired the side in order in the ninth to record the first save of his career.

- Rohrer posts his 16th multi-hit contest of the season and fifth with three or more hits in game.

- Catcher Jonathan Embry, the ASUN Player of the Year, had two hits, walked twice and scored a run in the contest. It is Embry's 17th multi-hit game of the season.

- Hatters first baseman Eric Foggo hit his sixth home run of the season, a two-run homer in the eighth.

Turning Point
With Liberty leading 2-0, the first two Stetson batters reached against Barker in the fifth inning. Left fielder Mark Townsend doubled to open the bottom of the fifth and advanced to third on a fielding error by Barker on a sacrifice bunt by catcher Nick Cardieri.

With runners on the corners, the Liberty right-hander struck out Hatters left fielder Andrew MacNeil for the first out of the inning. After Townsend scored on the second out of the inning, a sacrifice fly by third baseman Kyle Bell, Barker induced a ground out by second baseman Jacob Koos to end the inning and hold the Flames' 2-1 advantage. Stetson never got any closer, as Liberty scored four runs in the top of the sixth to take a commanding 6-1 lead.

Beyond the Box Score

- No. 2 seed Liberty vs. No. 6 seed Stetson in the ASUN title game is the first No. 6 seed vs. No. 2 seed matchup in the contest since 2003.

- The game's result creates the first Game 11 of the ASUN Championship since 2017, when Florida Gulf Coast defeated Jacksonville, 3-1.

- Liberty has defeated Stetson three of the four times the teams have played this season.

- Barker's outing (five innings) was his longest this season. The right-hander had not thrown more than three innings in any of his 16 relief appearances this season.

- With a single in the first inning, Embry extends his consecutive game hitting streak to a career-high 13 games. The catcher's streak is the longest by a Flame this season.

- Third baseman Tyler Galazin walked and scored in the sixth. The senior has now reached base safely in 16 consecutive games.
