The Liberty Lady Flames lacrosse team will play its second-to-last ASUN Conference game of the season on Wednesday at Kent State.

First draw between Liberty (11-4, 3-1 ASUN) and Kent State (2-14, 1-4 ASUN) is pegged for 3 p.m. at Dix Stadium in Kent, Ohio.

The Lady Flames will be looking to snap a two-game losing skid. Both of those losses came against strong opponents in ASUN-leading Jacksonville (April 14) and Big South-leading No. 25 High Point (last Wednesday). Despite those setbacks, Liberty has still matched its best record through 15 games (11-4) in program history, which the Lady Flames also achieved in 2018.

Kent State lost its most recent game this past Saturday at Central Michigan. The Golden Flashes are a first-year program and affiliate member of the ASUN Conference. Wednesday's contest pits two newcomers to the ASUN.

This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools and only Liberty's second opponent from the state of Ohio. The Lady Flames faced Cincinnati at home in 2012 and on the road in 2013.
