Liberty will square off against its second ranked foe of 2019, taking on 25th-ranked High Point on Wednesday night on the road.

First draw between the Lady Flames (11-3, 3-1 ASUN) and Panthers (11-4, 5-0 Big South) is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Vert Stadium in High Point, N.C.

Liberty and High Point are former Big South rivals. The Lady Flames are in their first year in the ASUN Conference, while the Panthers are the two-time defending Big South champions.

Liberty is experiencing its best season in program history at 11-3. The Lady Flames saw a program-record seven-game winning streak ended on Sunday against Jacksonville with a setback. The Panthers are 11-4 overall and have won seven straight, including a 21-4 win at Radford last Saturday.

Liberty is currently No. 26 in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse RPI, and High Point checks in at No. 39.

The Panthers own an 8-1 edge in the all-time series. High Point topped Liberty 13-4, last season (April 7, 2018) at Vert Stadium. The Lady Flames' lone win against the Panthers came at home (16-15 in overtime, April 17, 2015) in 2015.
