Liberty Hosts NCAA Selection Show Party at the Vines Center

Flames Nation,

Please read this information carefully as it pertains to the Flames Men's Basketball team's selection to the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

NCAA Selection Show – Sunday, March 17, 6 p.m.

The Flames Club is hosting a NCAA Selection Show watch party for all Flames fans at the Vines Center.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the Selection Show to begin at 6 p.m. All of Flames Nation is invited to come and see who the Flames' first-round opponent will be in the Big Dance. The men's basketball team will be there with Sparky and the cheerleaders. Light refreshments will be served.


Liberty will receive a limited number of tickets to the Flames First Round game. Priority will be given to Flames Club members before any tickets would be made available to the public.

If you do not qualify to purchase tickets through The Flames Club, you can still try to secure tickets via the NCAA and Ticketmaster or through third-party ticket websites.

This was a season for Flames Fans to remember.  Coach Ritchie McKay's team set a record with 28 wins in a Division I season, set a school record with 14 non-conference wins, had 11 road wins for the first time in school history and had their third 20-win season in a row.

This is the fourth time the team has qualified for the NCAA Tournament and the first time since 2013.
