Autumn Bishop reached base in all four of her plate appearances this afternoon against Long Beach State.
Long Beach State used a six-run first inning to pull away from Liberty 7-0 on Friday at LBSU Softball Complex.
With the win, LBSU improves to 8-11 on the season. Meanwhile, Liberty (14-7) saw its 11-game winning streak end.
Liberty's program-record shutout games (9) and shutout innings (60) streaks ended in the first inning today. The Lady Flames had scored 75 unanswered runs, starting on Feb. 21 against Wright State and ending this afternoon.

Notable Numbers - Long Beach State outhit Liberty, 11-2. The 49ers registered the game's only error. - LBSU's Ashley Coleman (5-4) pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out four and walking four. She did not allow a hit until the seventh inning. - Elizabeth Engler (1-2) drew the loss, allowing five runs on three hits in 1/3 innings pitched. Chase Cassady yielded two runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings of work. Julia DiMartino tossed the final 1 1/3 innings, striking out three and giving up two hits. - Jamie Wren went 3-for-3 with a triple and one RBI for LBSU, while Nichole Fry and Naomi Hernandez both had two hits.
