Liberty outhit the visiting Cleveland State Vikings, 12-1, as the Lady Flames ran their winning streak to seven games with a 9-0, five-inning victory on Saturday at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium.
Liberty (10-6) has gone 2-0 so far at the Liberty Softball Classic, while Cleveland State (2-10) is 1-3 this weekend.
The Lady Flames extended several impressive streaks today, as they have won seven games in a row overall and 24 consecutive home games. Liberty has tossed five straight shutouts, not allowing a single run over its last 33 2/3 innings.
