Liberty women's soccer has announced dates and times for its Spring schedule. Throughout the Spring, the Flames will play six games, with all of them taking place at Osborne Stadium.
"Our team is really motivated for an exciting spring season. The returning players are very committed to individually and collectively elevating themselves in every aspect of the game," head coach Lang Wedemeyer said. "We will benefit from a tough Spring schedule where everyone will have ample opportunity to get quality game minutes against great competition."
Liberty's Spring schedule will be spread out over the course of two months with two games in March and four in the month of April. The Flames will start their schedule on March 26, when a familiar opponent comes to town in Longwood, as the Lancers went 8-7-3 this past season including a 6-2-2 record in the Big South. The Flames will also host VMI to close out the month of March. Last season VMI went 7-9-2, with its season ending in the SoCon Championship Quarterfinals.
Starting the month of April off with matches is A10 member, Richmond, on April 6 coming to Lynchburg to take on the Flames. In the same week on April 9, Lynchburg will make the short drive to take on Liberty at Osborne Stadium.
The Flames will conclude its schedule with a double header on April 13 against ACC member, Virginia Tech and C-USA associate UNC Charlotte.
