Nguyen will be joining the Lady Flames for the 2019-20 school year.
The Liberty women's tennis team and head coach Jeff Maren have announced the addition of Tiffany Nguyen for the 2019-20 school year.
"Tiffany is mature beyond her years and will help bring stability and strength to our young team this fall," Maren stated. "She has great composure and mental strength on court and loves working hard. I have no doubt that she will help to elevate our program while here."
Nguyen is an American citizen who currently lives in Vietnam. She is a two-time Vietnam national champion in the professional circuit, a three-time Vietnam junior national champion and nine-time doubles national champion.
"I chose Liberty because Liberty's goal is to train champions for Christ, and that's exactly what I want to be," Nguyen said.
Nguyen is the fifth player in the Lady Flames tennis program's recruiting class, joining Esther Lovato (Austin, Texas), Eloise Saraty (West Molesey, Great Britain) Micaela Ode Mitre (Lima, Peru) and Dianela Rodriguez (Mexico City, Mexico).
