Liberty Field Hockey Head Coach Nikki Parsley-Blocker has announced the promotion of Jacki Bolt to Associate Field Hockey Head Coach.

Bolt has served as an assistant coach for the Lady Flames for seven of the program's eight years of existence. She served as an assistant coach during the program's first five years (2011-15), returned in March 2017 and has been on staff for the last two seasons.

"Jacki made an immediate and significant impact upon her return to Liberty. She brings a wealth of knowledge as our goalkeeper specialist and does an excellent job providing the direction for our big picture defense," Nikki Parsley-Blocker stated. "While her impact on the pitch is important, her ability to innovate and find competitive ways to better Liberty Field Hockey is a major part of what makes this program so special. She has excellent attention to detail and doesn't settle for average in any aspect of her job. I'm incredibly proud to have Jacki on staff and am excited to continue chasing excellence with her as the program's associate head coach."

Bolt, who was a goalkeeper at Richmond, has served as Liberty's goalkeepers coach while also providing administrative support for the program and assisting with recruiting and team travel. Over the past two seasons, Bolt has coached All-BIG EAST honoree Allison Schaefer. Under Bolt's guidance, Schaefer became the program's all-time saves leader in 2017 and currently has 308 saves through three seasons.

Liberty has finished as the BIG EAST regular-season and championship runner-up in Bolt's last two years on staff.

In her first stint at Liberty, Lady Flames goalkeepers Mallory Cuccio (No. 1, 1.01 GAA in 2012) and Ann Jefferis (No. 3, 0.95 GAA in 2013) ranked in the top-three in the country in goals-against-average.

With Bolt on staff, Liberty won back-to-back NorPac titles in 2013 and 2014, earning NCAA Field Hockey Championship bids in both years. In 2013, Jefferis was the NorPac Tournament MVP in 2013, a two-time NFHCA All-South Region second team honoree (2011, 2013) and also earned VaSID All-State second team honors in 2014. Cuccio was a NorPac All-Tournament team selection in 2014.
