Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. North Florida • Liberty will play its first-ever game at North Florida on Saturday, seeking a season sweep of the Ospreys and its second victory in Jacksonville this year. • As the season winds down, Liberty currently owns the No. 4 seed, which would host an ASUN quarterfinal tilt. North Florida is tied with Jacksonville for fifth place, just one and a half games behind the Lady Flames in the standings. • Both teams have played well in recent weeks. Liberty is 7-2 in its last nine games, while North Florida has won four of its last six outings. • Saturday's game will match up the reigning ASUN Player of the Week (Liberty's Bridgette Rettstatt) and ASUN Newcomer of the Week (North Florida's Jazz Bond). • Liberty's Ashtyn Baker and North Florida's Lauren Gross were teammates at Northpoint Christian School, where they won back-to-back Tennessee II-A state titles in 2016 and 2017. • North Florida is 27-4 under Darrick Gibbs when scoring 70+ points, including 7-1 this season.
