Duininck Named to ASUN Fall Winners for Life Team

Liberty women's soccer player Cora Duininck has been named to the 2018-19 ASUN Conference Fall Winners for Life team. The team is made up of one student-athlete from all nine ASUN member institutions, honoring those who display excellence on and off the field.

Duininck, a sophomore, is now a two-time all-conference selection earning All-Big South first team honors in 2017 and she was named to the ASUN Conference second team in 2018. After playing at an outside-back position last season, Duininck moved positions in the backline to center-back in 2018, helping a defense post four shutouts this season and a 0.99 goals against average during ASUN Conference play.

The biology major holds a 3.9 GPA at Liberty and is one of the SAAC reps on campus. She started in 16 of 17 games this season on the pitch. Off the field, she has helped with Spooktacular, Liberty's annual Halloween festival for the local community and with the Liberty Student-Athlete Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat event this past fall.
