Liberty is 15th in the country in the latest national poll.
The Lady Flames field hockey team has moved up three spots from No. 18 to No. 15 in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) DI National Coaches Poll on Tuesday morning.
Liberty's No. 15 ranking is its highest of the 2018 season. The Lady Flames closed the regular season with a 12-5 record and 6-1 mark in the BIG EAST. They have been listed among the top-25 teams in the country in all 10 national polls to date.

Last week, the Lady Flames finished up their regular season slate with a 4-0 shutout at Providence on Friday evening. The victory allowed Liberty to clinch the No. 2 seed for this week's BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship, which will be held at Liberty for the first time ever.
The Lady Flames will meet No. 3 seed Providence (11-7) in a semifinal match, Friday at 4 p.m. at the Liberty Field Hockey Field. The winner of that game will square off with either No. 1 seed UConn (16-3) or No. 4 seed Villanova (9-9) in Sunday's championship game at 1 p.m.
