Liberty defeated No. 11 Boston College 2-1 on Sunday and now finds itself at No. 18 in the nation.
NFHCA Release/National Poll
Liberty field hockey has moved up one spot from No. 19 to No. 18 in the national rankings. The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) released its Penn Monto/NFHCA DI National Coaches Poll on Tuesday.
Liberty (11-5, 5-1 BIG EAST) has been among the top-25 teams in the country in all nine national polls to date, this season. The Lady Flames' No. 18 ledgering is their highest since checking in at No. 16 in the nation on Sept. 4.

Last week, Liberty split a pair of games, losing to No. 5 UConn and defeating No. 11 Boston College. The Lady Flames defeated Boston College 2-1, Sunday on Senior Day, their fourth victory over a ranked opponent this year.
Liberty, which has already clinched a spot in the 2018 BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship, will close out regular season competition at Providence (11-6, 4-2 BIG EAST) on Friday night at 6 p.m. The victor of that contest will lock up the No. 2 seed for the BIG EAST Tournament.
