The Liberty field hockey team is in search of its seventh win of the season when it welcomes BIG EAST foe Temple to Lynchburg on Tuesday. Game time is pegged for 1 p.m. at the Liberty Field Hockey Field.

No. 19 Liberty (6-2, 1-0 BIG EAST) and Temple (2-6, 0-1 BIG EAST) were originally slated to play on Sept. 14, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather related to Hurricane Florence.

The Lady Flames are coming off a 2-0 weekend in which they won a pair of road contests. Liberty bested Villanova 4-0 last Friday in BIG EAST action and non-conference foe Lafayette 3-1 on Sunday. This is the start of a three-game week for the Lady Flames, all of which will be played at home. Liberty will also host BIG EAST foe Quinnipiac on Friday (4 p.m.) and ACC opponent Wake Forest on Sunday (1 p.m.).

Temple split a pair of home matches last weekend against Providence and Towson. The Owls fell 3-2 to Providence in double overtime on Friday night but rebounded for a 2-1 win over Towson on Sunday afternoon.
