Liberty Notables

• Liberty and Manhattan will be meeting for the first time on Sunday.
   
• Both teams claimed victory on Friday. Liberty blanked Niagara 3-0, at Osborne Stadium, while Manhattan defeated VMI 5-1 in Lexington, Va.
   
• Liberty outshot Niagara, 16-4, in snapping a two-game losing streak on Friday.
   
• James Knoebel received his first start of 2018 in goal for the Flames. The goalkeeper made two saves in recording his first clean sheet of the year and Liberty's second shutout of the year.
   
• Defender Shalom Dutey netted his first goal of the season off a free kick during the 23^rd minute.
   
• Liberty leading scorer Tresor Mbuyu scored goals, four and five, in the second half of the match. The forward currently tops the ASUN Conference with 12 points and is tied for the lead with five goals.
   
• Midfielder Kevin Mendoza recorded two assists in the contest. The senior now has three on the year.  Shaun Stocker and Bobby Bynum also had assists in the match.
