ETSU Edges Liberty in OT

A header by Danny Barlow in the 99th minute pushed the ETSU Buccaneers past the Liberty Flames 1-0 in overtime, Tuesday afternoon at Summer-Taylor Field.

After neither team scored in regulation despite the Flames playing a man down for the last 26 minutes, the Buccaneers scored off a corner kick for the victory in overtime.

Liberty drops its second consecutive match and falls to 2-2 on the year. ETSU improves to 1-3 on the season.

Playing with 10 men due to a red card during the 63rd minute, Liberty attempted one shot over the final 38:05. Meanwhile, ETSU fired seven shots, but only two on goal, including its golden goal.
