The Liberty women's lacrosse squad will take host the William & Mary Tribe on Wednesday evening. First draw is set for 6 p.m. at the Liberty Lacrosse Field.
The Lady Flames enter their final non-conference contest with a 6-3 record. William & Mary is currently 4-5 overall.
Liberty recently returned from the West Coast, where it played games at Arizona State and San Diego State. The Lady Flames defeated ASU, 15-5, last Tuesday and lost, 11-10, at SDSU last Friday night.
William & Mary enters Wednesday's bout coming off a 15-1 setback to the Richmond Spiders, last Saturday. The Tribe's last win was against Old Dominion, 8-5, on March 17.
Series History Liberty is 0-2 all-time against William & Mary. The Tribe defeated the Lady Flames in both 2016 and 2017. Liberty will be looking for its first win ever against William & Mary. In 2018, the Lady Flames have already defeated five opponents for the first in program history: Mercer, East Carolina, Old Dominion, Robert Morris and Arizona State.

Scouting William & Mary Head coach Hillary Fratzke's squad is led on the offensive end by Alexandria Specht (10 g, 2 a, 12 pts), Maddie Torgerson (9 g, 2 a, 11 pts) and Abby Corkum (9 g, 6 a, 15 pts). Elsa Rall (2-4, 12.12 GAA, 73 SV) has done the majority of goalkeeping this season and is 49th in the nation in save percentage (.448). The Tribe are No. 39 in the country in ground balls per game (19.33).
