Before the Flames started their fourth full week of spring football practice, Liberty Head Football Coach Turner Gill met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the team's workouts.
During the media session, Gill recapped Liberty's second scrimmage of its spring workout session, plus answered questions about how Liberty's special teams units are developing during the spring.
This week will serve as Liberty's last full week of spring practice (practices No. 11 to No. 13), including their third scrimmage on Saturday. As previously announced, the Flames will not hold an annual spring football game due to the expansion construction taking place at Williams Stadium.
During its spring practice workouts, the Flames practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:45 to 7:45 p.m.) and Saturday mornings/afternoons. All of Liberty's spring practice workouts are closed to the general public and media.
