Before the Flames started their first full week of spring football practice, Defensive Coordinator Robert Wimberly met with the media earlier this week to discuss the team's workouts.
The Flames held their first of 15 spring practice workouts, last Saturday, kicking off a five-week stretch where Liberty will practice three times a week in preparation for the 2018 season.
As previously announced, the Flames will not hold an annual spring football game due to the expansion construction taking place at Williams Stadium.
During its spring practice workouts, the Flames practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:45 to 7:45 p.m.) and Saturday mornings/afternoons. All of Liberty's spring practice workouts are closed to the general public and media.
