Flames Announce 2018 Football Signing Class

Liberty Head Football Coach Turner Gill added 19 players to his 2018 roster as part of the new early December National Signing Day period on Wednesday.

Gill's 2018 signing class, his seventh recruiting class at Liberty, includes 14 high school standouts and five junior college transfers. Four of the 19 players will join Liberty's roster for the spring semester.

Liberty's first-ever FBS recruiting class includes 10 players who were two or three-star ranked recruits by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com. The rankings are the highest in program history.

Gill's 2018 recruiting class includes five defensive linemen, four offensive linemen, four wide receivers, three defensive backs, a running back, a tight end and a linebacker. Liberty's football staff continues to bring in the best high school talent from all around the country, signing players from eight different states.
