Hard work and doing things the right way has not only translated to success on the soccer field for Gabrielle Farrell, but also off the pitch.
In just two seasons playing for Liberty women's soccer, Farrell has proven to be one of the Big South's best players, as a two-time all-conference honoree. However, more importantly, Farrell and her team have continued a tradition that makes Liberty's soccer program so unique.
Before every game Liberty plays, each player writes a letter to an opposing player. The letter contains either a Bible verse, words of encouragement or just providing a lending hand letting a fellow student-athlete know that they are there to help in any way they can.
LFSN's Game On caught up with Farrell to talk about her two years at Liberty and the tradition the program has carried throughout the years.
