Liberty is set to host the Paradise Jam from Nov. 17 through Nov. 19 at the Vines Center this weekend. To kick off the tournament on Friday, Liberty will host Mercer in the first of 12 games to be played in Lynchburg this weekend.

In conjunction with the tournament, Liberty University will donate all of the tournament gate receipts to the humanitarian relief efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands in order to assist with the recovery due to the hurricane destruction. The tournament will be streamed by FloHoops with Andy Katz on the call.

  • Liberty ranks No. 30 in scoring defense in the country allowing 54.0 points per game.

  • Liberty snapped its losing streak losing 22 straight DI non-conference road games with a win at Wake Forest (Dec. 31, 2012 at Western Carolina).

  • Liberty beat an ACC opponent for the first time since Nov. 15, 2008 at Virginia (86-82), during McKay's first stint at Liberty.

  • The Flames' win over Liberty was the Big South's first win over an ACC opponent since Dec. 7, 2014 when Radford beat Virginia Tech 68-66.
