Liberty is set to host the Paradise Jam from Nov. 17 through Nov. 19 at the Vines Center this weekend. To kick off the tournament on Friday, Liberty will host Mercer in the first of 12 games to be played in Lynchburg this weekend.
In conjunction with the tournament, Liberty University will donate all of the tournament gate receipts to the humanitarian relief efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands in order to assist with the recovery due to the hurricane destruction. The tournament will be streamed by FloHoops with Andy Katz on the call.

Liberty freshmen trio (Elijah Cuffee, Keegan McDowell and Isaiah Williams) have combined to average 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the first two games of the season.
Mercer ranks No. 16 in the Mid-Major Top 25 Poll
In the Mid-Major Top 25 poll, Liberty received 12 votes.
Ritchie McKay was made chairman of the Mid-Major Top 25 voting panel for the 2017-18 season.
Liberty faces five teams this season that are currently ranked or receiving votes in the Mid-Major Top 25.
