Liberty's Erwin Chang has made the most of his increased playing time this fall, posting his second career top-10 finish and earning his first career Big South weekly honors.
The sophomore ranks third on the team and 16th in the Big South with a 73.33 season stroke average, having shaved nearly three strokes off his freshman year season stroke average (76.00).

He played two of his three rounds at the UAB-hosted tournament under par, giving him three under par rounds during the early part of the 2017-18 season. The native of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia finished the tournament with 10 birdies and 36 pars in the 54-hole event hosted at the Shoal Creek Country Club (par 72, 7,264 yards).
The Flames return to the golf course in next week when they travel to Dallas, Texas for the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate on Oct. 23-24. The two-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Baylor at the Royal Oaks Country Club.
