Liberty women's soccer enters the final week of the regular season on the road with matchups against Longwood and UNC Asheville. The Lady Flames head into the week with a three-point lead as they sit in first place in the Big South Conference.

The Lady Flames are approaching history as they look to go unbeaten in the Big South for the second time in school history. In 2002, Liberty went 5-0-1 during conference play, allowing just one goal in the team's six contests. Through seven Big South games this season, Liberty has allowed just one goal for a league best 0.13 goals against average. Liberty will look to continue its success against UNC Asheville as they have not lost to AVL since Nov. 5, 2006. Liberty also has not allowed the Bulldogs to score a goal since Oct. 27, 2010.

Liberty continues to make history as they have tied the school record (1998) for most overtime games played in a season with six games. The Lady Flames have also tied the program's record (2000) for most overtime wins with three victories.
