Isaiah Logue and the Flames will travel to College Grove, Tenn., next week to participate in the 2017 Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate.

Fresh off a runner-up finish last week, Liberty will look to continue its successful fall campaign at the 2017 Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate, next week.
The three-day, 54-hole event gets underway on Sunday at The Grove Club in College Grove, Tenn. (par 72, 7,368 yards).
A different team has been victorious each year at this event, now in its fourth year of existence. Defending champion Ole Miss will be in this year's field of 12 teams, looking for another tournament victory. Last year, the Rebels carded a winning score of 4-over par 868 (292-286-290) to win by six strokes over Kennesaw State's 10-over par 874 (300-290-284).
Tournament host Middle Tennessee has finished top five each year of the tournament, thanks to playing the event on its home course. The Greg Norman designed golf course opened in 2012.
The Flames will be looking to build off their second-place finish at UAB's Shoal Creek Invitational. Liberty finished the event with a 2-under par 862 (282-291-289), 13 strokes off the winning score posted by Wake Forest.
Last week's Big South Men's Golfer of the Week Ervin Chang led the Flames, finishing tied for ninth place with a 2-under par 214 (71-71-72) at Shoal Creek.
The sophomore opened with his second and third under-par scores of the young 2017-18 season, helping him post his best career 54-hole finish.
Alexandre Fuchs was also honored by the Big South, last week, and will be part of the Flames' starting five in Tennessee.
The native of Mouans-Sartoux, France was named the league's Men's Golf Freshman of the Week after finished tied for sixth place with a 1-over par 217 (71-74-72) at the Patriot Intercollegiate as an individual.
Rounding out head coach Jeff Thomas' starting lineup at the event will be seniors Mickey DeMorat and Isaiah Logue, along with junior Gabe Lench.
DeMorat currently leads the Flames on the season with a 70.83 stroke average, followed by Lench's 71.67 season stroke average. Logue is Liberty's most seasoned golfer, holding a 72.50 career stroke average, which currently ranks second best in school history.
