The honors continue to roll in for Liberty's D.J. Artis, as the rising junior was named to the 2017 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) University Division All-State Baseball Team, earlier today.

In addition to the all-state accolades, Artis' 2017 honors include being named the Big South Player of the Year and to the All-Big South first team.

The outfielder also became the seventh player in program history to receive postseason All-America honors in 2017. He was named to the D1Baseball.com All-America second team, Baseball America All-America and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-America third teams.
