Hall of Fame Banquet Tickets

The 2017 class of the Liberty Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducted at a banquet ceremony on Sept. 29, an event surrounding Liberty's home football game against St. Francis (Pa.). Tickets for the banquet are now on sale with the banquet scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.

The five-member Hall of Fame class, which is the Athletics Department's ninth inducted group, includes: Sam Chelanga (men's cross country/track & field), Julius Nwosu (men's basketball), Katie [Phillips] Bigham (softball), Richard Shelton (football) and Dave Williams (strength & conditioning). Each of the inductees will be presented by a person of their choosing and will address the audience that attends the banquet.

All of the inductees will be presented with an etched glass piece that will memorialize this honor. This group of five will bring the total number of Athletics Department Hall of Fame members to 47. All Hall of Fame inductees are honored with a display in the honors area of the Vines Center.

The induction banquet, open to all Flames Nation fans and the general public, is sponsored by the Flames Club and will be hosted on Liberty's campus in the Williams Stadium Tower Club Pavilion (third floor). Tickets are available for $30 at the Flames Ticket Office or online at the link provided below. All purchased tickets will be available for pick up as you enter the banquet unless picked up in person at the Flames Ticket Office.

The five inductees will also be presented to the audience at the St. Francis (Pa.) football game on Sept. 30. The contest against the Red Flash begins at 6 p.m.
