On the latest edition of "Game On: Fill in the Blank" from the Liberty Flames Sports Network, reporter Bobbie Bohlig sat down with Liberty redshirt senior first baseman Sammy Taormina
Taormina started all 55 games for the Flames, 32-23, this season, earning Big South All-Conference first team honors. The senior led the Big South in RBI during the regular season and completed the year with 55. He also was among the conference leaders in hits (eighth - 68), home runs (fourth - 10), slugging percentage (eighth - .534), on base percentage (eighth - .411), walks (third - 39) and total bases (fourth - 117). He was second on the Flames with a .311 batting average and scored 38 runs.
