Big South-leading Liberty (18-13, 5-1 Big South) heads to the road for a three-game, two-day trip that begins with a Tuesday doubleheader at Tennessee (26-5, 6-3 SEC). The Lady Flames will then play one game at NC State (12-20, 6-3 ACC), Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Liberty's last meeting with Tennessee came in the NCAA Knoxville Regional, with the Vols prevailing, 8-0, May 20, 2011. Liberty is 0-2 all-time against NC State, as the Wolfpack has won both games by 2-1 scores.

Lady Flames at a Glance
Liberty started its Big South season at 5-0 for the second season in a row before falling to Radford in the series finale on Saturday. The Lady Flames' loss snapped an eight-game winning streak, its longest since 2011. Liberty bats .330 as a team, ranking 15th in the nation, while being ranked 16th in NCAA Division I with 1.58 doubles per game.

Tori Zavodny bats .415, and is joined by Amber Bishop (.406, 5 HR, 28 RBI) as Lady Flames batting .400 or better. Autumn Bishop (.391) leads the conference with 10 doubles. Jasmeen Click (.369) has stolen a team-high 13 bases. Sarah Robertson, in the midst of a career-best 13-game hitting streak, bats .353, while Alexia Taylor hits .348. Emily Sweat checks in at .342, hitting safely in each of the last 10 games.

In the circle Julia DiMartino boasts a conference-best 2.62 ERA and a team-high six wins, while Chase Cassady (4-6, 4.55) has tossed two shutouts. Kenzie Friesen is 5-1 with a 3.39 ERA and one shutout this year.

Tennessee (26-5, 6-3 SEC) enters the week on a five-game winning streak after sweeping Ole Miss over the weekend. The Vols bat .333 as a team, led by Meghan Gregg's .437 average, eight homers and 43 RBI. Megan Geer hits .415. In the circle are Matty Moss (13-1, 1.27 ERA) and Caylan Arnold (12-4, 1.67).

Liberty has posted one win over an SEC opponent in program history, defeating Arkansas, 5-2, Feb. 13, 2015.

NC State (12-20, 6-3 ACC) won one out of three games from North Carolina over the weekend. Jade Caraway bats .385 to lead the Wolfpack, followed by Brittany Nimmo at .341. Tyler Ross (.319) leads the team with five homers and 22 RBI.

Liberty is 1-0 against ACC opponents this year, downing Syracuse, 3-1, on Feb. 24.

Top 25 Challenge
The Liberty softball team has posted a 6-51 all-time record versus Top 25 opponents.

This season, Liberty lost 7-1 to No. 6/5 UCLA on Feb. 19. Liberty was two outs away from knocking off No. 3/3 Florida, Feb. 25, taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the ninth before falling to the Gators, 2-1, in 10 innings. Liberty fell twice at No. 2/3 Auburn earlier in March.

In 2007, Liberty knocked off No. 23 Hawai'i, No. 10 Baylor and No. 6 Michigan. Liberty's 2-0 win over No. 6 Michigan, March 24, 2007, marks the highest-ranked team Liberty has beaten in softball, and the team's most recent victory over a nationally-ranked team.

-- Emily Sweat's walk-off single on Saturday gave Liberty a 6-5 win over Radford. It was the Lady Flames' fourth walk-off win in Liberty Softball Stadium history.

-- Liberty won eight straight games before falling to Radford in Saturday's second game. It was the team's longest winning streak since an eight-game streak, April 13-20, 2011.

-- The Lady Flames have scored 10 or more runs in eight games this season, already tying for the most 10-run games in the program's Division I history (since 1994).

-- Liberty leads the Big South with 1.58 doubles per game. The team hit a season-high seven doubles on March 10 against Rhode Island, one shy of a program record.

-- Tori Zavodny paces the Big South with a .415 batting average this season. In program history, she is tied for fourth in career triples (9), tied for sixth in walks (63), fifth in stolen bases (56) and ninth in runs scored (109).

-- Sarah Robertson is currently on a 13-game hitting streak, batting .447 with a team-leading seven doubles and 13 RBI during that span. Robertson tied a program record with three doubles, March 11 against North Carolina Central.

-- Emily Sweat is on a 10-game hitting streak, batting .414 during that span.

-- Amber Bishop, batting .406 on the season, leads the team with five homers and 28 RBI. She hit two homers and drove in six runs, March 17 at Charleston Southern.

-- Jasmeen Click (.369) leads the team with 13 stolen bases and 52 outfield putouts.

-- Alexia Taylor (.348), Liberty's active leader with 139 career hits, became the fourth player in program history, last year, to reach 100 career hits as a sophomore.

-- Autumn Bishop (.391) leads Liberty with 10 doubles, three triples and 29 runs scored. She tied a program record with two triples against Morgan State, Feb. 12.

-- Autumn Bishop and Kayla Harris both recorded a hit in their first career at bat, Feb. 10 versus Chattanooga, the first Liberty freshmen since Kelby Allen in 2012 to do so.

-- Deidra See (.280) has hit three sacrifice flies this year, one shy of a program record.

-- Julia DiMartino (6-4, 2.62 ERA) earned two wins against Radford. Last year, she set program freshman records in wins (17), strikeouts, (187), shutouts (7) and no-hitters (2).

-- Kenzie Friesen (5-1, 3.39) tossed a one-hit shutout on Feb. 26 against Morgan State, her third career shutout.
