With the Liberty men's tennis spring 2017 season just three days away, LFSN's Alan York had a chance to preview the season with Liberty Head Men's Tennis Coach Chris Johnson.
Johnson discussed his team's preparation leading up to this weekend's doubleheader. Liberty opens its spring schedule at home against King and Bluefield State on Saturday at the Crosswhite Athletic Club in Lynchburg. The Flames take on King at 1 p.m., followed by Bluefield State at 6 p.m.
Liberty, which was voted to finish fourth in the Big South Conference men's tennis preseason poll, starts league play on March 1 against Longwood.
