Liberty midfielder Pepe Segarra has been named the Big South Men's Soccer Attacking Player of the Week for games played Oct. 24-30.
Segarra netted both goals in a 2-0 win over Presbyterian in a key Big South Conference match, Saturday. It was the first time that the junior has scored multiple goals in a contest this season. Both the midfielder's goals came in the second half.
With the two goals, Segarra now has four for Liberty (7-7-2. 4-2-1 Big South) on the year. The Flames are unbeaten in their last four matches (3-0-1).
Liberty will close out its regular season schedule on Wednesday. The Flames will visit Longwood for a Big South Conference match. Kickoff at Longwood Athletics Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.
