Liberty WBB TV/Streaming Schedule Announced

The Liberty women's basketball team will have 22 of its 29 regular-season games broadcasted on a combination of the Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN), ESPN3, the American Sports Network (ASN) and the Big South Network during the upcoming 2016-17 season.

To accommodate the Big South Conference's women's basketball television package, the Lady Flames' game at Gardner-Webb has been shifted from Jan. 14 to Jan. 15. The game will tip off at 1 p.m. on the American Sports Network.

The conference's package also includes the Jan. 21 rematch of the 2016 Big South Women's Basketball Championship title game. Liberty's game at UNC Asheville will air on ESPN3.

ESPN3 will also broadcast the 2017 Big South Women's Basketball Championship quarterfinals, semifinals and championship game, slated for March 10, 11 and 12 at the Vines Center.

LFSN will televise 12 Lady Flames contests this season, with Mike Tilley and Kelley Deyo returning to provide play-by-play and color commentary, respectively. All LFSN broadcasts will be carried live by both ESPN3 and WFFP-TV, channel 24, a full-power, full coverage television station in the Lynchburg-Roanoke market.

WFFP-TV is a COZI TV affiliate, providing family-friendly programming to Central and Southwest Virginia. WFFP broadcasts can be viewed on Comcast channels 14 (SD) and 803 (HD), as well as on other cable and satellite providers. Contact your local provider for channels and availability.

For the fourth straight year, games will be video streamed live for free on the Big South Network. Liberty will appear on the Big South Network 20 times during the regular season, while the network will also carry the first-round games at the Big South Women's Basketball Championship on March 9.

Liberty's first televised game of the year will be its season opener against Duke, Nov. 11 at the Vines Center. The matchup between the Lady Flames and Blue Devils will tip off at 6 p.m. on LFSN, WFFP, ESPN3 and the Big South Network.
