The Liberty Lady Flames will host the Big South co-leader Radford Highlanders in a key conference match, Wednesday afternoon at Osborne Stadium. Match time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
With less than a week remaining in the Big South schedule, Liberty (8-7, 4-2 Big South) and Radford (7-6, 5-2 Big South) are among several teams looking to secure a top four position in the league standings and host a quarterfinal match, when the Big South tournament begins on Oct. 30.
Liberty will enter the contest, having won four of its last five games, including its last two Big South matches. Meanwhile, Radford comes off a 2-0 road victory over Presbyterian in conference play, this past Saturday.

A Look at Liberty Liberty struck for three goals during the first 16 minutes of play on its way to a 5-0 victory over Campbell, this past Saturday. The victory was the Lady Flames' fourth in their last five games.
Forward Jennifer Knoebel scored twice in the contest, her second match this season with multiple goals and the third of her career. Devon Jones, Isabella Habuda and Abigail Persson also netted goals in the match. Bailey Gilmore had two assists, while Knoebel, Gabrielle Farrell and Jones each assisted on a score.
With a 2-0 win over Winthrop on Wednesday, the Lady Flames have not allowed a goal over their last 223:57 of play. In addition, Liberty has outscored its opponents, 14-3, while posting a 4-1 mark over its last five games.
Forward Gabrille Farrell leads the Lady Flames in points with 17 and assists with five. The freshman is tied with teammate Isbella Habuda for the team lead in goals with six. Meanwhile, Habuda is second in points with 14.
Farrell enters Wednesday's contest second in the Big South Conference in points. The forward is also tied for third in goals and assists. Meanwhile, Habuda is also among the conference leaders. The midfielder is tied for third in goals and tied for sixth in points.
Knoebel, Jones and Persson round out Liberty's multi-goal scorers. Knoebel now has four goals, while Jones has scored three, and Persson has netted two.
Goalkeeper Holly Van Noord recorded her fourth shutout of the season and extended her Liberty record career total to 37, last Wednesday in the 2-0 shutout of Winthrop. Saturday, she shared the shutout with Tori Collar, who took over in the Liberty net in the second half.
Van Noord is second in the Big South Conference with a 0.99 goals-against average and is second with a .837 save percentage.
A Look at Radford Radford won 2-0 at Presbyterian, Saturday afternoon. The victory snapped a two-game losing skid for the Highlanders. Before the skid, Radford had won four straight.
Midfielder Jasmine Casarez leads the Highlanders and is among the Big South leaders with seven goals and 16 points. Jessica Wollman is Radford's second-leading scorer with three goals and three assists for nine points.
Goalkeeper Courtenay Kaplan has started all 13 games between the posts for Radford. The freshman has a 1.10 goals-against average and a .797 save percentage.
The Series Radford leads the all-time series with Liberty, 16-11-4. Liberty defeated Radford, 3-2 in overtime, last season and has won the last three meetings.
A Look Ahead Liberty will host UNC Asheville for its final regular season home match, Saturday at Osborne Stadium. Match time is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Before the game, Liberty seniors Lizz Kappler, Erika Troutman and Holly Van Noord will be honored.
