Fresh off a win over Longwood, Wednesday, the Liberty women's soccer team returns to action, Saturday at 3 p.m., hosting Presbyterian at Osborne Stadium.
The contest is part of a doubleheader, which features the Liberty men's soccer team and UNC Asheville at noon.
Liberty (5-6, 1-1 Big South) is 8-1-1 all-time versus the Blue Hose. PC (2-8, 0-2 Big South) earned its first-ever win over the Lady Flames last season, taking a 2-0 decision at Martin Stadium (Oct. 7, 2015).

A Look at Liberty Despite a weather delay at Osborne Stadium that lasted over 90 minutes, the Liberty women's soccer team held firm, Wednesday afternoon, defeating Longwood, 2-1.
For the third time this year, freshman forward Gabrielle Farrell posted the game-winning goal, while sophomore forward Devon Jones collected her second marker in as many games. Junior forward Isabella Habuda recorded the assist on Jones' goal.
With the win, Liberty moves to 5-6 overall and 1-1 in the Big South. Liberty is now 10-4-3 all-time against the Lancers.
Habuda and Farrell lead the team in scoring this season with three goals apiece, followed by Jones with two. Farrell, a two-time Big South Freshman of the Week honoree, is currently second in the league with three game-winning goals. Fellow freshman Sierra Lam paces the squad with three assists in 2016.
Van Noord has played in 10 games, this season. She is tied for second in the conference in shutouts (3), save percentage (.815) and goals-against average (1.22).
Van Noord is also third in the Big South with 53 saves. For her career, she holds the Big South and school record in career shutouts with 36. She is No. 2 on Liberty's all-time career saves list with 350 stops. The redshirt senior also has the best career goals-against average (0.84) in program history.
Presbyterian at a Glance The Blue Hose enter Saturday's contest looking for their first conference win of the season. PC is coming off a 1-0 double overtime defeat versus Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. The Blue Hose opened conference play at Campbell last Saturday, dropping a 6-2 decision to the Fighting Camels.
Senior forward Kristen Peagler leads the team in total points with nine (three goals, three assists). Junior midfielder/forward Frances Whitesides has four goals on the year.
Looking Ahead Liberty hits the road on Wednesday, continuing Big South play versus Gardner-Webb. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
