Following Liberty's final full practice of the week, Head Coach Turner Gill met with the media to discuss his team's preparation for their matchup against Robert Morris on Saturday.

Colonial Connections
• Liberty freshman NG DeCarlo Hamilton graduated from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla. The school is also the alma mater of Robert Morris redshirt freshman DB Tevaul Brown and sophomore WR Warren Robinson.
• Robert Morris Head Coach John Banaszak was named AFCA National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2013, his final season as an assistant for the Colonials. The next year, Liberty Defensive Coordinator Robert Wimberly won the same honor for the Flames.
• Much of the Robert Morris coaching staff is familiar with Liberty. Head Coach John Banaszak and assistants Scott Farison, Bill Hurley, Andrew Richardson and Patrick Shepard were all on staff for both previous meetings with the Flames (2010 and 2011).
• Meanwhile, Robert Morris Running Backs Coach Myles Russ totaled 229 all-purpose yards and three TDs, including the game winner with 22 seconds left, in RMU's 2010 victory over Liberty. Current Robert Morris Inside Linebackers Coach Alex DiMichele had 13 tackles in that game.

Liberty vs. the NEC
• Liberty is 4-1 all-time versus NEC foes, including 4-0 in Lynchburg.
• The Flames are 1-0 against Bryant, 1-1 versus Robert Morris and 2-0 against Saint Francis (Pa.).
• Liberty's most recent matchup with a NEC foe came on Sept. 20, 2014 at Williams Stadium. No. 24 Liberty handed No. 25 Bryant its first loss of the season, 38-21.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) will provide radio coverage for the contest, with the Flames Pregame Tailgate Show scheduled to go on the air at 5:30 p.m. The LFSN TV will televise the game through its various outlets, including the ESPN3, the Big South Network and The Walk Network.
