The Liberty women's soccer team continues Big South action on Wednesday, playing host to Longwood at Osborne Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Lady Flames look to bounce back from a three-game skid, while the Lancers are coming off a 5-0 win in their conference opener on Saturday. Liberty leads the all-time series versus Longwood, 9-4-3, and has won the last three meetings between the two squads.

A Look at Liberty Beginning Big South action on the road, Saturday night, the Liberty squared off with High Point at Vert Stadium. The Panthers' Kelsey Perrell was instrumental in the matchup, scoring a pair of goals to lead High Point to a 2-1 win.
With the defeat, Liberty fell to 4-6 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. Sophomore forward Devon Jones posted the lone goal for Liberty on an assist by junior forward Jennifer Knoebel. The Lady Flames outshot the Panthers, 11-7, and held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks. Liberty goalkeeper Holly Van Noord finished the contest with three saves.
Junior forward and Louisville transfer Isabella Habuda leads the team in scoring with three goals, followed by freshman forward and two-time Big South Freshman of the Week Gabrielle Farrell, who has two goals and two assists. Freshman Sierra Lam paces the squad with three assists in 2016.
Van Noord has played in nine games, this season. She is tied for second in the conference in shutouts with three and is third in save percentage (.810), total saves (47) and goals-against average (1.25).
For her career, Van Noord holds the Big South and school record in career shutouts with 36. She is also No. 2 on Liberty's all-time career saves list with 344 stops.
Longwood at a Glance The Lancers enter Wednesday's contest with a 4-6 record, but are coming off an emphatic 5-0 win in their Big South opener versus Gardner-Webb, Saturday. Kathyrn Miller led Longwood with two goals, while Sheyenne Stretz finished with a goal and an assist.
Sydney Wallace also found the back of the net in the matchup and paces the team with three markers on the year. Janese Quick and Miller each have two goals and one assist in 2016.
Goalkeeper Maria Kirby has started all 10 games in between the posts. She currently leads the league in total saves (55) and is second in save percentage (.821) and goals-against average (1.24).
Looking Ahead Liberty returns to Osborne Stadium on Saturday, squaring off with Presbyterian at 3 p.m. The contest is part of a doubleheader, featuring the Liberty men's soccer team versus UNC Asheville at noon.
