The 2016-17 Liberty women's basketball team will feature a lot of new faces. This summer, Nick Pierce and Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network spent some time with each of the Lady Flames' newcomers. The series continues today with redshirt freshman Kaitlyn Stovall.
Stovall was redshirted during the 2015-16 season but gained valuable experience practicing against Katelyn Adams, Catherine Kearney and Ashley Rininger. With those three players having graduated, Stovall is the tallest player on the 2016-17 Lady Flames, at 6-3.
A native of Hopewell, Va., Stovall was home schooled and played high school basketball at TPLS Christian Academy. She totaled 794 points, 1,055 rebounds and 523 blocked shots during her time at TPLS.
