This season, Liberty will square off with every top-five team in the preseason poll. The Lady Flames play defending national champion and second-ranked Syracuse in their third match of the season on Sept. 3 followed by preseason No. 5 Virginia on Sept. 12. Liberty also travels to No. 3 UConn, the national champion from 2013 and 2014, on Oct. 15.
