Recently, LFSN's Alan York sat down with each of the Liberty men's basketball team's incoming players. In the fourth installment of the series, York chats with incoming freshman forward Brock Gardner.

During the interview, Gardner talks about what brought him to Liberty and his experiences of moving around the country during his childhood. Gardner also discusses the versatility of his game and how it fits into the Liberty basketball philosophy.

An ESPN three-star recruit, Gardner played for Tri-City Christian Academy in Chandler, Ariz. Prior to signing with Liberty, the 6-7 guard averaged 25.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.1 blocks and 4.3 assists as a junior and was named CAA Arizona State Player of the Year three straight years (2013-15). Gardner also led Tri-City to the state championship in 2013 and 2014 and was named state tournament MVP.
