Chase Hansen and Logan Hatter
The Liberty Flames men's soccer team has announced the additions of the Michigan goalkeeper Chase Hansen and Indiana midfielder/forward Logan Hatter for the 2016-17 academic year.
Hansen comes to Liberty after winning a Michigan State Championship with Lansing Christian School in 2013 and reaching the semifinals in 2015. The Lansing native was a three time all-state selection, earning a first team honors in 2015 and second team honors in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, the goalkeeper was also named to the Lansing Dream team.
Hatter joins the Flames from the Indiana Fire Juniors, which competed in the Midwest Regional League. Hatter was a member of the Olympic Development Program Region 2 pool from 2010-2012. The midfielder/forward played on both Region 2 trips which included interregional tournaments in Florida and Virginia.
Listed as a 4 star recruit by TopDrawerSoccer.com, Hatter was named all-conference three times and all-district twice. The Avon, Ind., native also earned Indiana All-State honorable mention as a junior, and this past season, was selected to the first team. In addition, he was named the Hendricks County Player of the Year and nominated for the Player of the Year by the Indy Star.
He finished his completed his career at Avon Park with 31 goals and 10 assists for 72 points.
