Logue Named to PING All-Region Team

16 PING All-Region Team

Liberty's Isaiah Logue has been honored for his efforts during the 2015-16 season, as the sophomore was recently named to the 2016 PING All-Region Team.

Logue was one of 156 Division I players in the country named to the six All-Region teams with his selection to the East All-Region team.

The announcement of the All-Region teams was made by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) during last week's NCAA Men's Golf National Championship in Eugene, Ore.

Logue is the seventh golfer in program history to be named to a GCAA PING All-Region team and gives the Flames a PING All-Region selection for the seventh year in a row.

Logue was one of three Big South players named to the PING East All-Region team. He was joined by Charleston Southern teammates Austin James and R.J. Keur.

Logue led the Flames during the 2015-16 season, finishing his second year with the program with a 72.62 season stroke average.

The Fairfield, Pa., native ranked fourth in the Big South in stroke average and was named to the All-Big South team for the second year in a row.

Logue tied for team-high honors with five top-10 finishes in 2015-16 and led the team with three top-five finishes, including a second-place showing at the 2016 Big South Men's Golf Championship.

Logue second-place finish helped Liberty capture the team title at the 2016 Big South Men's Golf Championship, the program's fourth conference title in six years.

Liberty advanced to the NCAA Albuquerque Regional in Albuquerque, N.M., the program's fifth regional appearance in the last six seasons and seventh in program history.
