Football Post Spring Practice Depth Chart

With individual players meetings following spring practice now complete, Flames Head Coach Turner Gill recently met with the media to recap Liberty's spring practice workouts.

During the media session, Gill discussed how his coaching staff evaluated the players following spring practice and he addressed questions about the post spring practice depth chart.

Liberty's annual spring football game was held on April 16 at Williams Stadium. Liberty's offensive unit used a 20-yard touchdown pass play from Stephon Masha to Zac Parker to claim a 57-46 victory in the intrasquad scrimmage.

With individual player meetings now complete and final exams are underway, Liberty's players will move into the summer workout season. The entire 2016 team will resume full team activities when they report for August training camp on Aug. 7 with their first practice scheduled for 9:15 a.m. on Aug. 8.

The Flames will open the 2016 season in Blacksburg, Va., with their first-ever matchup against Virginia Tech on Sept. 3. Liberty begins its six-game home schedule the following weekend when the Flames host Jacksonville at Williams Stadium on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
