Following the conclusion of the 2016 regular season, Liberty Men's Tennis Head Coach Chris Johnson has announced the signing of Chase Burton to a national letter of intent.
Johnson aims to build off a strong spring season that featured six underclassmen and three upperclassmen.
Burton has been listed as a five-star athlete for the majority of the last four years according to Tennisrecruiting.net, with a high of No. 52 nationally. Currently, Burton is listed as a four-star coming in at No. 103 nationally and as high as No. 458 internationally. In addition to his singles results, Burton has been the USTA Florida state doubles champion and also the American Cup doubles champion among other accomplishments.
Johnson on Signing Burton: "Chase is going to fit very well into our program! His junior accomplishments speak for themselves. Even more is that his faith is very important to him so we know he will make an immediate impact both on and off the court."
